Together, we're improving health and improving lives.LabCorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team at 22032 El Paseo, Suite 160, Rancho Santa Margarita, CA 92688.Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:30 am – 4:30 pm, additional hours and rotating weekends may be required.Job Responsibilities:Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groupsCollect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely mannerProcess billing information and collect payments when requiredPrepare all collected specimens for testing and analysisMaintain patient and specimen information logsProvide superior customer service to all patientsAdministrative and clerical duties as necessaryTravel to additional sites when neededBasic Qualifications:High School Diploma or GED or equivalentValid California State issued Phlebotomy LicensePreferred Qualifications:1 or more months of experience as a phlebotomistCurrent or prior experience with LabcorpAdditional Job Standards:In lieu of state license requirement listed above, an application for a phlebotomy license filed with the CA Department of Health at time of hire may meet license requirement.Able to pass a standardized color blindness testStrong communication skills; both written and verbalProven track record in providing exceptional customer serviceAbility to work independently or in a team environmentComfortable working under minimal supervisionFlexibility to work overtime as neededAble to attend 2-week training in CaliforniaAt LabCorp we have a passion for helping people live happy and healthy lives. In this role you will provide exceptional customer service, perform skilled specimen collections and be the face of the company. In addition, you will be provided with opportunities for continuous growth within the organization.Quarterly Incentive Bonus Program PST's may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.Pay Range: $23.00 - $33.00All job offers will be based on a candidate's skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.Benefits: Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan. Employees who are regularly scheduled to work a 7 on/7 off schedule are eligible to receive all the foregoing benefits except PTO or FTO.
