Join us in our mission to improve health and improve lives.LabCorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in San Tan Valley, AZ at North Gantzel Road, San Tan Valley, AZ 85140.Work Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 8:00 am – 5:30 pm and Friday, 8:00 am – 12:00 pm; additional days/hours as neededJob Responsibilities:Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groupsCollect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely mannerProcess billing information and collect payments when requiredPrepare all collected specimens for testing and analysisMaintain patient and specimen information logsProvide superior customer service to all patientsAdministrative and clerical duties as necessaryTravel to additional sites when neededMinimum Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalentPreferred Qualifications:Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 2 years or more experience as a phlebotomist1 year or more experience in an Obgyn settingAdditional Job Standards:In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agencyAble to pass a standardized color blindness testStrong communication skills; both written and verbalProven track record in providing exceptional customer serviceAbility to work independently or in a team environmentComfortable working under minimal supervisionFlexibility to work overtime as neededAt Labcorp, we have a passion in helping people live happy and healthy lives. In this role you will provide exceptional customer service, perform skilled specimen collections and be the face of the company. In addition, you will be provided opportunities for continuous growth within the organization.Phlebotomists may be eligible for participation in the Phlebotomy Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.Benefits: Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan. Employees who are regularly scheduled to work a 7 on/7 off schedule are eligible to receive all the foregoing benefits except PTO or FTO.
