Phlebotomist Tech I/Courier- JDAMHCorrectly performs patient identification, venipuncture/capillary collection technique, and specimen labelingPerforms specimen processing functions accurately and efficientlyCorrectly performs special phlebotomy proceduresLaboratory Competency and Education RequirementsCompliance with Laboratory Safety Policies & ProceduresDemonstrates adequate knowledge of the hospital and laboratory computer systemsAbility to read at a high school levelAbility to effectively communicate verbally and in writingAbility to effectively implement written and oral instructionsAbility to appropriately encounter individuals (patients, visitors, coworkers, medical staff and others) in a variety of situations and circumstancesCurrent Drivers License with no major citations, able to be covered under AMC auto insuranceEncouraged to become certified by ASCP or a similar qualifying agency (qualification determined by the Administrative Director) after one year of experience at JDAMHHigh School Diploma or equivalentCurrent Driver's LicenseSuccessful completion of in-house trainingHave optimal opportunity for career growth within our growing organizationMedical / DentalRetirement PlanPTO and paid life insuranceArchbold Medical Center is a four-hospital, four-nursing-home health system with 540 patient beds.
