Job description
What are the top responsibilities for this position?
Phlebotomists draw blood from pediatric through geriatric patient population. Phlebotomist process all lab specimens including verifying patient identifiers, barcoding, centrifuging, pouring off, accessioning, creating packing lists and packaging specimens to reference lab at correct temperatures. Phlebotomists follow all Phlebotomy SOP and OSHA Safety/PPE guidelines.
Must have qualifications/experience: 6 months phlebotomy experience
What skills/attributes are nice to have, and will set a candidate apart? Experience with blood drawing for all age groups , knowledge of Epic
Type of certification required: Phlebotomy Certification preferred
Shift start & end times: M-F 8:30am - 5:30 pm, rotational Saturdays at Mt. Kisco location 8:00am - 1:00pm
Work days per week: 5
Dress code/scrub color: Navy Blue
