Together, we're improving health and improving lives.We are seeking a Phlebotomy Site Coordinator to join our team in Austin, TX.Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00AM - 5:00PMLocation: Austin, TXJob Responsibilities:Observe and report any performance, compliance or staffing related issues to supervisorsManage and monitor patient flow, wait times, inventory levels and information logsMonitor monthly productivity reports and report any deviations as necessaryAddress any customer service related issues in a prompt and respectful mannerPromote team work, cohesiveness and effective communication among coworkersPerform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groupsCollect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely mannerProcess billing information and collect payments when requiredPrepare all collected specimens for testing and analysisAdministrative and clerical duties as necessaryTravel to additional sites when neededMinimum Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent2 years or more of experience as a phlebotomistPreferred Qualifications:2 years or more of experience as a phlebotomistPhlebotomy certification or completed trainingAdditional Job Standards:In-depth knowledge of phlebotomy duties, responsibilities and techniquesProven track record in providing exceptional customer serviceStrong communication skills; both written and verbalAbility to work independently or in a team environmentComfortably working under minimal supervisionReliable transportation and clean driving record if applicableAt Labcorp we have a passion in helping people live happy and healthy lives. Employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan. Employees who are regularly scheduled to work a 7 on/7 off schedule are eligible to receive all the foregoing benefits except PTO or FTO.
