ABOUT HARRY S. Truman VA Medical Center, Columbia, MO: For the third consecutive year, Truman VA is ranked nationally by employees as "Best Place to Work" among 142 VA Medical Centers, based on results from the All Employee Survey.
We have 1,800 staff, provide care for 40,000 Veterans, and the VHA hospital complexity level is 1c.
Truman VA offers training in nursing, psychology, audiology, social work, dietetics, pharmacy, chaplaincy, health care administration, and optometry, as well as residency training in all major medical and surgical subspecialties. Truman VA is a referral center for heart care services including open heart surgery.

Pay: Competitive salary, annual performance bonus, regular salary increases
Paid Time Off: 50-55 days of paid time off per year (26 days of annual leave, 13 days of sick leave, 11 paid Federal holidays per year and possible 5 day paid absence for CME)
Retirement: Traditional federal pension (5 years vesting) and federal 401K with up to 5% in contributions by VA

Licensure: 1 full and unrestricted license from any US State or territory
