This locum tenens position involves providing critical inpatient rehabilitation services, with a focus on "bread and butter" procedures such as joint injections and baclofen pumps. The assignment offers a flexible Monday through Friday schedule, with mandatory attendance at a weekly staff meeting.

Job Responsibilities Provide comprehensive inpatient rehabilitation care
Perform procedures such as joint injections and manage baclofen pumps
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including occupational, speech, and physical therapists
Qualifications Board certification in PM&R required
Valid Illinois state medical license
DEA and CSR certification required
ACLS certification required
Experience: 1-2 years preferred
Working Hours Monday to Friday
Flexible hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM or 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Night call coverage required
Skills Proficient in using EPIC EMR system
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Ability to handle inpatient rehab cases effectively
This position requires prompt action to obtain emergency privileges, so a swift response with necessary documentation will ensure a smooth credentialing process.
