We are seeking a highly skilled and board-certified Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation specialist to focus on Independent Medical Examinations (IMEs). With a flexible schedule that allows you to select or decline cases based on your availability, this role is ideal for professionals looking to balance work and personal commitments while making a significant impact.
Key Responsibilities:
Review Medical Records: Analyze and assess patient medical documents related to rehabilitation and pain management conditions to inform your evaluations.
Conduct Physical Exams: Perform in-person evaluations of patients presenting with functional limitations or musculoskeletal issues to ensure accurate assessments.
Address Clinical Questions: Provide detailed responses to clinical inquiries from insurance carriers regarding rehabilitation matters, maintaining professionalism and clarity.
Prepare Reports: Generate comprehensive IME reports within an expected turnaround time of 5 days, ensuring high standards of accuracy and thoroughness.
