Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Opportunity in Springfield, MOA nationally recognized healthcare system in Southwest Missouri is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation physician to join a well-established and growing PM&R team. This is a full-time employed opportunity offering flexibility in practice focus, strong compensation, and excellent support.Practice DetailsFull-time employed PM&R position Established team of 5 physicians and 3 APPs Flexible practice model with inpatient and outpatient opportunities Ability to tailor practice focus (rehab, MSK, EMG/NCS, injections, neuro, trauma, etc.) 60-bed freestanding rehabilitation hospital 1:5 call schedule with strong work-life balance Large referral base drawing from a multi-state region Clinical ResponsibilitiesProvide inpatient rehabilitation and/or outpatient PM&R care Perform procedures such as EMG/NCS and injections based on skillset Manage a wide range of conditions including stroke, brain injury, orthopedic, and neurologic cases Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across specialties Maintain accurate documentation and patient care plans Support & ResourcesState-of-the-art rehabilitation hospital and equipment Level I Trauma Center and Stroke Center of Excellence Access to 600+ employed physicians across multiple specialties Dedicated hospitalist support at the rehab facility Established referral network with high patient volumes Compensation & BenefitsStarting salary guarantee of $425,000 with productivity upside Additional incentives including production, quality, and recruitment bonuses Sign-on bonus and relocation assistance Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance Occurrence-based malpractice coverage Retirement plan options Generous PTO and CME allowance RequirementsMD or DO degree Board Certified or Board Eligible in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Eligible for Missouri medical licensure Strong clinical and collaborative skills Community Highlights - Springfield, MissouriLocated in the scenic Ozark Mountains with abundant outdoor recreation Low cost of living ranked among the best in the U.S. Access to lakes, hiking, biking, and fishing Strong job market with growing economy Excellent schools and universities Regional airport with convenient nationwide travel options Metro amenities with minimal traffic and a strong sense of community
