Job description
Coverage: Scheduled Clinical Hours + Call
Practice Setting: Inpatient
EMR: Epic
Schedule:
Monday Friday, 7:00 AM 3:30 PM
No outpatient responsibilities
2nd call / backup call
Phone consults: 0 1
Patients seen on call: 0 1
Admissions on call: 0 1
Patient Volume:
Inpatient rehab census: up to 33
Consultation service: approximately patients
Majority of patients have neurological diagnoses, including stroke and TBI
Responsibilities:
Supervise 3 4 APPs
Work with an interdisciplinary team
Lead team conferences
Inpatient rehabilitation care
Admissions required
Required Skills:
Traction/immobilization devices
Diagnostic/therapeutic taps
Arthrocentesis
Acute and chronic pain management
Injections, including joint, trigger point, blocks, epidural and facet
Fluoroscopy-guided procedures
Electrical stimulation
Wound debridement
EMG
Nerve conduction studies
Medical management
Licenses Required:
North Carolina medical license
BLS
Requirements:
Fellowship required
APP supervision required
