Facility:
This is an inpatient rehabilitation hospital attached to a major regional medical center, offering a well-structured and collaborative environment for physiatrists. The facility features a maximum census of 33 inpatient rehab beds and a robust consultation service, supported by a strong interdisciplinary team.

Physician - Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
Job Details:
Inpatient rehabilitation setting with a maximum census of 33 patients
Supervise 3-4 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs)
Work with an interdisciplinary team with a majority of patients presenting with neurologic diagnoses including stroke and TBI
Lead team conferences as part of care coordination responsibilities
Manage a robust consultation service of 25-40 patients
Approximately 30 patient encounters per shift
Schedule is Monday through Friday, with no outpatient responsibilities
Medical management skills required
BLS certification required
Active North Carolina medical license required
Estimated credentialing timeframe of 90 days
Nearest airport is ILM (Wilmington International Airport)
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
