Role Overview
This position involves coordinating, delivering, and supervising Occupational, Physical, and Speech Therapy services across inpatient and outpatient settings. The role emphasizes developing individualized treatment plans, overseeing clinical care, and ensuring quality standards are met.
Key Responsibilities
Assess patient needs, develop and update treatment programs, and evaluate outcomes.
Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary team members, patients, and families, respecting cultural diversity.
Maintain thorough documentation, participate in discharge planning, and promote evidence-based practices.
Supervise therapy staff, coordinate daily staffing, manage department logistics, and ensure compliance with policies and safety protocols.
Support staff and student training, foster team relationships, and handle conflict resolution.
Contribute to departmental development, quality improvement, and professional growth activities.
Qualifications & Skills
Education: High school diploma or GED; Doctorate in Physical Therapy or Master’s in Occupational Therapy.
Experience: Preferred five years of clinical experience.
Licensure: Licensed Physical or Occupational Therapist.
Skills: Strong communication, teamwork, problem-solving, leadership, and cultural competence. Ability to evaluate patients and develop effective interventions.
