Job description
The Grove at Carvalho located in Fall River, MA has an exciting opportunity available for a Full-time Physical Therapist (PT) to join their new in-house therapy team!
n $3,000 Sign on Bonus nnKey Responsibilities:
nnnPerform initial physical therapy evaluations and create personalized treatment plans based on patient goals and needs.
n
nnDeliver physical therapy services to restore mobility, reduce pain, and improve physical function and independence.
n
nnCollaborate with an interdisciplinary care team including nurses, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and physicians.
n
nnEducate patients and families on home exercise programs, safety strategies, and wellness practices.
n
nnSupervise Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) and ensure adherence to treatment plans.
n
nnMaintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with state and federal regulations.
n
nnParticipate in care planning, team meetings, and quality improvement initiatives as needed.
n
n nQualifications:
nnnGraduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT, MPT, or BSPT).
n
nnCurrent State Physical Therapist license in good standing (or eligible).
n
nnCurrent CPR certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
n
nnStrong clinical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
n
nnPrevious experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting is preferred but not required.
