Connecting purpose driven people to opportunities in Physical Therapy and Fitness

That is our niche, and it is the thing we are genuinely best at.

If you came into this profession because you wanted to change how someone's life goes, not just treat their symptoms, this is a place built for that. We are therapist-owned, with five clinics across South Carolina, and the decisions about how we practice are made by clinicians who still treat patients.

Our goal by 2036: the #1 place to work in Physical Therapy and Fitness in the Carolinas, with 100,000 lives changed.

Our Story

Founded in 2015 by Nancy and Andrew Imbeau, ProMotion started with one small clinic in Lake City, SC and a simple idea: create a practice where physical therapists could thrive, patients could achieve life-changing goals, and a culture of collaboration and excellence would shape every decision. Since then we have grown into a trusted provider of outpatient rehabilitation across South Carolina without loosening that commitment.

Orthopedic Residency Program, in partnership with MUSC

We are the host partner for an accredited orthopedic physical therapy residency through the Medical University of South Carolina, offered at all five of our locations. The program is built to prepare clinicians for board certification as an Orthopaedic Certified Specialist (OCS).

This is what room to grow actually looks like. You learn alongside clinicians who have already done it. Dr. Nancy Imbeau, Dr. Rob Wager, and Roy "Edwin" Belser Jr all hold OCS credentials and practice here every week.

Very few private practices our size offer a path like this. Most clinicians pursuing OCS do it alone, on their own time, at their own expense.

Why clinicians choose ProMotion

We are therapist-owned Caseload, treatment time, and equipment decisions are made by people who do the work, not by a regional executive in another state.

Real subspecialty depth Board-certified orthopedic and sports specialists, TPI Certified golf performance, pelvic health and women's health, dance medicine with a studio on site in Columbia, running and endurance athlete rehabilitation, Parkinson's and neurologic care, gymnastics injury rehab, ACL return-to-sport, dry needling, and certified manual therapy.

A schedule that fits a life Part-time roles start at a two day, eight hour per week minimum. We would rather have an excellent clinician two days a week than lose them entirely. Quality Over Quantity is a guiding principle, not a poster.

Room to grow, with evidence Several of our clinic directors and partners started here in entry-level roles. As we open new locations, the leadership paths open with them.

Roles across the practice Physical therapists, physical therapist assistants, physical therapist technicians, and personal trainers.

What we offer Health, dental, and vision insurance, with 50% of your premium covered (full-time)

401(k)

Paid time off and company holidays

$1,500 annual continuing education allowance (full-time)

Mentorship from board-certified specialists

Support toward advanced certifications

Accredited orthopedic residency through MUSC, at all five locations
