Are you a passionate Physical Therapist (PT) looking for a career where your clinical expertise directly impacts the lives of your patients? At TRU Healthcare, we're more than a healthcare provider—we're a community rooted in servant leadership, empathy, altruism, and integrity.

We're looking for a PT who wants to make a meaningful difference while enjoying the autonomy, flexibility, and personal connections that come with providing care in the home. If that sounds like you, we'd love to meet you!

Making a Difference for Our Patients

At TRU Healthcare, we reach beyond traditional care settings to touch the lives of those in our community. Our mission is to serve the underserved and help ensure access to quality healthcare, especially for those who may be overlooked by the traditional healthcare system.

As a Physical Therapist, you'll have the opportunity to work one-on-one with patients in their homes, helping them improve mobility, increase independence, and achieve meaningful goals in their everyday lives.

Making a Difference for You

Recognized as one of Star Tribune's 2023 Top Places to Work, TRU Healthcare is committed to creating a workplace where respect, appreciation, and teamwork are part of every day.

We offer competitive compensation and benefits while giving our clinicians the autonomy and support they need to do what they do best—provide exceptional patient care.

Still Spending Your Evenings Buried in Documentation? That Ends Here.

At TRU Healthcare, we've embraced cutting-edge, AI-powered documentation tools that are changing the game. Our clinicians are equipped with innovative technology designed to make documentation more efficient, so you can spend less time clicking and more time caring for your patients.

That means less paperwork, less documentation fatigue, and more time where it belongs—with your patients and your family. You'll work smarter, finish faster, and reclaim your time without compromising quality of care.

Your Impactful Role as a Physical Therapist

In your role, you will:

Provide One-on-One Care: Evaluate and treat patients in their homes, developing individualized treatment plans focused on mobility, function, independence, and quality of life.

Manage Your Schedule: Enjoy the autonomy of managing your patient visits while traveling throughout your assigned service area.

Help Patients Reach Their Goals: Use your clinical expertise to help patients improve strength, balance, mobility, and functional independence.

Collaborate with the Care Team: Work closely with nurses, occupational therapists, aides, social workers, physicians, patients, and families to coordinate comprehensive care.

Educate Patients and Caregivers: Provide education and instruction on therapeutic exercises, mobility, safety, and strategies that support continued progress at home.

Document and Communicate: Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation and communicate patient progress and changes in condition to the appropriate members of the care team.

Why You'll Love This Position

Full-Time Stability: Enjoy the consistency of a full-time position while doing meaningful work in your community.

Monday–Friday Schedule: Maintain a schedule that supports work-life balance, with evenings and weekends generally free.

Autonomy: Manage your patient visits and enjoy the independence of providing care in the home setting.

Patient Relationships: Build meaningful, one-on-one relationships with patients and their families.

Community Impact: Help people regain function, maintain independence, and live more fully in the comfort of their own homes.

Supportive Team Environment: Work alongside a team that genuinely supports one another and is committed to exceptional patient care.

Innovative Technology: Spend less time documenting and more time doing what you became a PT to do—help people move and live better.

What You'll Need to Excel

Licensure: A current Minnesota Physical Therapist license.

Education: Graduate degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program.

Patient-Centered Mindset: A genuine passion for helping patients achieve their goals and maintain independence.

Clinical Expertise: Strong assessment, treatment planning, and clinical decision-making skills.

Independence: The ability to work confidently and effectively in a home health environment.

Teamwork: A willingness to collaborate with patients, families, caregivers, and members of the interdisciplinary team.

Driver's License: A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Benefits That Make a Difference

Comprehensive Benefits Package: Medical, HRA, Dental, and 401(k).

Generous Time Off: Paid holidays and a top-tier PTO plan.

Travel Reimbursement: Mileage reimbursement for travel between patient visits.

Sign-On Bonus: Eligible candidates may qualify for a sign-on bonus.

At TRU Healthcare, we do more than care for our community—we create a place where you can truly make an impact while building a career you can be proud of.

Don't just earn a living—Make a Difference.
