Overview
nPosition: Physical Therapist Assistant
nLocation: Berlin, CT
nSchedule: Monday through Friday
nPRN and part-time are also available
nCompensation: Hourly rate is $27-40/hr based on experience
nOur Select Physical Therapy outpatient orthopedic center is seeking alicensed physical therapist assistant (PTA) to provide top-notch patient care to patients of all ages and abilities. Our highly trained and respected clinical team provides treatment services that maximize functionality and promote the best optimal outcomes for our patients.We take pride in creating an exceptional patient experience, helping all of our patients get back to athletics, work, life, and the things they love.
nWe treat a diverse caseload of sports medicine, general orthopedics, vestibular, and workers compensation patients, aging from teens through adults. Our clinic is open 7am - 7pm Monday through Friday, with evening hours for our active sports medicine and orthopedic population.

n nResponsibilities
nnnResponsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
n
nnImplement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures
n
nnMaintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.
n
n nQualifications
nnnCollege graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program
n
nnPassed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE
n
nnValid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process)
n
nnCPR certification
n
