Job description
Position Summary
nTo assist the Physical Therapist in administering physical therapy treatments to established standards of physical therapy, physician’s referral, and physical therapy plan of care.
nPrimary Position Responsibilities
nnnPerforms and modifies or updates patient treatment programs with Physical Therapist direction to maximize patient outcomes.
n
nnDocuments information to assure continuity of care and maximize reimbursement.
n
nnMaintains schedule to attain productivity standards.
n
nnMaintains familiarity with duties of and provides supervision to PTA students, various levels of support personnel, and volunteers.

nAssociate’s Degree in Physical Therapy
nMinimum Years of Experience (Amount, Type and Variation):

nLicense, Registry or Certification:

nCurrent New Jersey license as PTA. Graduate of certified PTA program.
