Physical Therapist AssistantGrace Reliant Health Services is looking for an experienced Physical Therapist Assistant to serve our clients in the Cape Girardeau region.The ideal candidate will provide skilled Physical Therapy Assistant services to patients in their homes in accordance with physician orders.Responsibilities:Implement selected components of care and interventions in a technically competent mannerInstruct and counsel patients effectively in exercisesIdentify patient's needs and exhibit compassion, caring, and empathy to individual differencesRecommend options, courses of action or modifications in selected treatments ensuring patient's progress, safety and comfortApply the latest research related to restoring function, reducing symptoms frequency, and preventing injuryComplete documentation to support the delivery of physical therapy servicesPerform selected data collection and obtain accurate informationMeasure performance and report on patient's medical recordParticipate in patient status judgmentsAdhere to ethical and legal standardsEnsure continued competence and updated field knowledgeSkills:Proven working experience as a physical therapist assistantExcellent knowledge of physiology best practices and standardsHands-on experience with therapeutic exercises, functional training, and physical modalitiesAbility to communicate and instruct effectivelyHealth care administration and documentation skillsLicense to practice or relevant certificationBenefits:Flexible scheduleComprehensive benefits (medical, dental, vision, IRA, PTO, Holiday pay, etc.)Medical specialties:Home HealthPhysical TherapySchedule:Day shiftMonday to Friday by AppointmentLicense/Certification:Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (Required)Work Location:Cape Girardeau Region
