nJoin our dynamic team at Velocity Physical Therapy as a Physical Therapist Assistant! In this role, you will play a crucial part in helping patients recover and regain their mobility while working in a supportive and collaborative environment.
nResponsibilities:
nAssist physical therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients.
nMonitor patient progress and provide feedback to the therapy team.
nEducate patients on exercises and rehabilitation techniques.
nMaintain patient records and document treatment sessions accurately.
nEnsure a safe and clean environment for patients during therapy sessions.
nAssist with administrative tasks as needed, including scheduling appointments.
nCommunicate effectively with patients and their families regarding care plans.
nStay updated on industry best practices and continuing education opportunities.
nRequirements:
nCurrent Texas Physical Therapist Assistant license required.
nAssociate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
nExperience in outpatient rehabilitation preferred.
nStrong communication and interpersonal skills.
nAbility to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
nCompassionate demeanor with a focus on patient care.
nBasic knowledge of electronic health record systems.
