Meadow Lakes Physical Therapist AssistantMeadow Lakes is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team! Meadow Lakes is a Springpoint Senior Living community located in East Windsor, NJ. We are seeking a full-time Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. At Springpoint, the PT Assistant is responsible for providing physical therapy treatments and procedures.Responsibilities:Administers traction to relieve neck and back pain.Instructs, motivates, and assists patients to learn and improve functional activities.Observes patients during treatments and compiles and evaluates data on patient responses to treatments and progress and reports findings to physical therapist.Fits patients for, adjusts, and trains patients in use and care of orthopedic braces, prostheses, and supportive devices.Confers with members of physical therapy staff and other health team members to exchange, discuss, and evaluate patient information for planning, modifying, and coordinating treatment programs.Performs clerical duties such as taking inventory, ordering supplies, answering telephone, taking messages, and filling out forms.Measures patient's range-of-joint motion, length and girth of body parts, and vital signs to determine effects of specific treatments or to assist Physical Therapist to compile data for patient evaluations.Education and Experience:Highschool diploma or equivalent requiredGraduate of an accredited therapy program1-2 years working as a PT Assistant or related experienceCurrent NJ PTA State LicenseComprehensive Benefits Package Including:Medical/Dental/Vision/Rx PlansPaid Time Off and Holidays401(k) with Company Match (Once Eligible)Life & Disability InsuranceFlexible Spending AccountsVoluntary Benefits (includes Daily Pay!)Employee & Resident Bonus Referral ProgramsEmployee Assistance ProgramWellness & Wellbeing ProgramsTuition ReimbursementProfessional Development and Career OpportunitiesPay Range: $34.00 - $39.00 / hourEqual Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
