Physical Therapy AssistantThe details: This is a large team in a fast paced hospital environment which clinicians treat a variety of diagnoses with a common mix of orthopedics, neurological and critical care caseloads. Physical Therapist Assistants with at least one year hospital acute experience are encouraged to apply. We will also consider new graduates with strong acute clinical rotations. Be a part of this team with an excellent reputation for service to its patients.The ideal candidate: Is someone who is excited to join a thriving and energetic team Is someone who loves to continue their education and learn more to better serve their patients Is someone who believes that patients deserve One on One care with a highly trained clinician Is someone who values a lifelong relationship with patients and who can provide therapy services across the lifespanThe requirements: Degree from an accredited school approved by CAPTE Current state licensure or eligibility in Physical Therapy in Maryland Basic Life Support through the American Heart Association Will display strong skills in flexibility, time management, leadership, and communication Focuses on the patient and providing the utmost in customer service excellence Experience with documentation utilizing EMRThe responsibilities: Deliver quality physical therapy services according to treatment plans for patients Document progress toward identified objectives Provide accurate and timely documentation for current patient caseload and oversee compliance of department.
