Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Outpatient OrthopedicsSelect Physical Therapy is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant to join our outpatient orthopedic team. Our center features a collaborative group of clinicians, including two Physical Therapists and one Physical Therapist Assistant. We treat a wide range of outpatient orthopedic conditions across all ages, diagnoses, and insurance types. Patients include those with general orthopedic needs as well as individuals requiring neuro, vestibular rehabilitation and fall-prevention programs.PTAs with a minimum of 1 yr outpatient orthopedic experience, APPLY!Join us and take the next step in your career.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and proceduresMaintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.QualificationsCollege graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant programPassed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTEValid State Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) License (or license in process)Minimum 1 yrs outpatient orthopedics experience.CPR CertificationAdditional DataEqual Opportunity Employer/including Disabled/VeteransPart Time/PRN Perks:Continuing Education : Free in-person and online CEUs to keep learningCareer Growth : Access to a nationwide, professional support network401(k) : Company matching 401(k) after 1,000 hours in a calendar year
