Qualifications & Skills:
Current licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant in Texas required
Experience in pediatric or school-based settings strongly preferred
Working knowledge of IEP processes and documentation
Ability to collaborate effectively with physical therapists, educators, and families
Strong organizational skills and adaptability in a dynamic school environment
Excellent communication skills to facilitate interaction with staff, students, and family members
Key Responsibilities: Provide physical therapy interventions under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
Implement individualized treatment plans to support student mobility, participation, and safety in the school setting
Document progress and maintain accurate, up-to-date records in compliance with applicable standards
Participate in IEP meetings and communicate student progress to parents and multidisciplinary teams
Assist in equipment recommendations, modifications, and training for staff as needed
Adapt interventions to diverse student needs and changing schedules within the school day
