Job description
Encompass Health is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to support high-quality inpatient rehabilitation services. In this role, you will carry out treatment plans designed by licensed physical therapists, guiding patients through therapeutic exercises, gait training, and functional mobility activities. You will closely monitor and document patient progress, ensure safe use of equipment, and educate patients and families on home programs. Working within an interdisciplinary team, you will collaborate with therapists, nurses, and physicians to help patients recover from major illnesses and injuries in a patient-centered, clinically advanced environment that supports ongoing learning and professional growth.
