Job description
Encompass Health is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to support patients recovering from stroke, brain and spinal cord injuries, orthopedic surgeries, and other serious illnesses. Working under the direction of a Physical Therapist, you will carry out individualized treatment plans, assist with therapeutic exercises and mobility training, and provide education to patients and families. You’ll collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team, document progress accurately, and help maintain a safe rehab environment. This role offers strong clinical resources, mentoring, and growth opportunities in a mission-driven, patient-centered setting focused on restoring independence.
