Job description
Encompass Health is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant for our hospital rehab team. In this role, you’ll support licensed Physical Therapists in delivering evidence‑based rehabilitation to patients recovering from stroke, brain and spinal cord injuries, orthopedic surgeries, and other serious conditions. You will implement treatment plans, lead therapeutic exercises, monitor patient progress, and document care in the EMR. Working within an interdisciplinary team, you’ll educate patients and families, promote safety and mobility, and contribute to discharge planning while upholding our mission-driven, patient-centered standards of care.
