Overview
nPosition: Physical Therapist Assistant - Outpatient Orthopedics
nLocation: Lutz, FL
nSchedule: Full-time Mon - Fri 40 hrs/wk, within our hours of operation: Mon-Thurs 7am-7pm, Fri 7am-6pm
nCompensation: Starting at $26+/hr. Starting hourly rate calculated by experience.
nIncentives: $10,000 bonus! Indefinite student debt repayment option of $200/month
nSelect Physical Therapy's outpatient center has an immediate need for a Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA). Work with a highly experienced team of 4 clinicians treating outpatient orthopedics, sports medicine, vestibular, hand therapy, and industrial Mentoring available.
nResponsibilities
nnnResponsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
n
nnImplement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures
n
nnMaintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.
n
n nQualifications
nnnCollege graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program
n
nnPassed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE
n
nnValid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process)
n
nnCPR certification
