This is a wonderful opportunity to expand knowledge and experience in a clinical setting.Weekend Rotation every 4th or 5th weekend. These weekend rotation shifts are shorter in nature, as it is an Inpatient "check-in" and not a full shift.This location sees mostly orthopedics, back pain, cervical pain, geriatrics, and the occasional pediatric patients.This position has the opportunity for part-time or full-time, if you're open to working with our sister-hospital in Henderson, KY!What you get from us as a PRN PTA:Opportunity for important work/life balanceCompetitive PayWhat will you be doing in this role?Maintaining achievable established productivity standardsCompleting appropriate documentation according to Company/department policies and procedures along with adhering to federal and state regulationsProviding medically prescribed physical therapy treatment for patients suffering from injuries, or muscle, nerve, joint and bone diseasesRestoring patient function while relieving pain, with ambitions of avoiding disabilityIntegrating Rehab Techs (support staff) in patient care planOur ideal candidate will have:Current license to practice as a Physical Therapy Assistant specific to the State of KentuckyAssociate's degree or higher as a Physical Therapist AssistantCurrent CPR certification or ability to attain this certificationAre you a PTA who is interested in learning more about our industrial settings or wanting to find a specific career path you are passionate about?
