nJob Description
nWe are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide high-quality physical therapy services and help patients achieve their functional goals.
nResponsibilities:
nnnImplement treatment plans developed by the supervising Physical Therapist
n
nnDeliver therapeutic exercises, manual techniques, and modalities as appropriate
n
nnMonitor patient performance and report progress or changes to the Physical Therapist
n
nnInstruct patients in safe and effective home exercise programs
n
nnMaintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with company and regulatory standards
n
nnEducate patients and families about therapy goals, safety, and treatment expectations
n
nnAssist in maintaining clinic organization and ensuring a safe, clean environment
n
nnParticipate in team meetings and contribute to coordinated patient care
n
nnSupport quality improvement and continuing education initiatives
n
n nQualifications
nnnGraduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
n
nnCurrent Texas PTA license
n
nnValid BLS/CPR certification
n
nnSolid understanding of physical therapy principles and modalities
n
nnStrong interpersonal, communication, and patient engagement skills
n
nnExcellent documentation and electronic medical record (EMR) proficiency
n
nnAbility to work collaboratively as part of an interdisciplinary team
n
nnCommitment to patient-centered care and ongoing professional growth
n
nnExperience or interest in orthopedics, sports medicine, or outpatient care preferred
n
