We are a family of skilled nursing facilities and rehabilitation centers dedicated to providing resident-centered, quality-focused care in a workplace culture built on teamwork, respect, and uplifting others.If you are a compassionate and dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant who takes pride in helping residents achieve greater mobility, function, and independence, we want you on our team!Why Join Nassawadox?Flexible Opportunities – Full-Time, Part-Time, and PRN positions available.Meaningful Work – Make a direct impact on residents' mobility, recovery, and quality of life.Positive Work Environment – Work alongside supportive and collaborative rehabilitation professionals.Employee Engagement Activities – Be part of a workplace that values and celebrates its team.Excellent Training – Continue developing your clinical skills and professional knowledge.Competitive Pay & Benefits – Be recognized for the expertise and dedication you bring to resident care.Your Role as a Physical Therapist AssistantAs a PTA, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide skilled treatment and help residents achieve their individualized rehabilitation goals.Key ResponsibilitiesImplement each resident's individualized treatment plan as established by the Physical Therapist.Provide physical therapy treatments designed to improve mobility, strength, balance, function, and independence.Work collaboratively with members of the rehabilitation and interdisciplinary teams to deliver programs consistent with each resident's needs and capabilities.Assist the Physical Therapist with tests, evaluations, and complex procedures as directed.Monitor and communicate residents' responses to treatment and progress to the supervising Physical Therapist.Instruct residents, families, and caregivers in appropriate physical therapy techniques and strategies under the supervision of the Physical Therapist.Promote resident safety, dignity, participation, and independence throughout treatment.Complete required clinical documentation accurately and in a timely manner.Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Rehabilitation or supervising Physical Therapist.Qualifications & RequirementsGraduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program recognized by the appropriate accrediting body.Current and valid PTA license or eligibility for licensure as required by the state of practice.Strong organizational and time-management skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Compassionate, patient-focused approach to resident care.Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative rehabilitation team.Make Every Step Count.Your work as a Physical Therapist Assistant can help residents regain confidence, improve their mobility, and achieve greater independence in their daily lives.At Nassawadox Rehabilitation and Nursing, every treatment, every interaction, and every step forward matters.Bring your skills.
