Per Diem Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Home Care | Needham, MA | New Competitive RatesVisiting Rehab and Nursing Services (VRNS) is seeking a compassionate and dependable Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our growing home healthcare team in Needham, Massachusetts.Position Highlights:Per Diem Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Position$37–$50 per visitFlexible schedulingOne year of clinical experience requiredMileage reimbursementLicensure reimbursementSupportive clinical and administrative leadershipOngoing training and professional developmentUSA Today Top Workplaces Winner – 2024, 2025 & 2026Your Role as a Home Care Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA):As a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) with VRNS, you'll provide skilled physical therapy services directly in patients' homes under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. You'll work closely with patients and their care teams to promote mobility, strength, independence, safety, and quality of life. If you're looking for a therapy position that combines professional independence, flexible scheduling, competitive compensation, and meaningful one-on-one patient care, this could be a great opportunity for you!Your responsibilities may include:Providing skilled physical therapy interventions under the direction of a Physical TherapistProviding transfer training and instruction in safe mobility techniquesEducating patients and caregivers on exercises, mobility strategies, and safety techniquesMonitoring patient progress and reporting changes to the supervising Physical TherapistCollaborating with Physical Therapists, nurses, occupational therapists, speech language pathologists, physicians, and other members of the care teamCompleting accurate and timely electronic documentationHome care offers a unique opportunity to get to know your patients and make a meaningful difference in their daily lives.
