Job TitlePay: Base Wage starting at $24.24; increased based on experienceIncentive Eligible Position: YesEssential FunctionsAnswer phone calls.Brief patients and their families on after-therapy care.Guide patients through exercises where necessary.Lift or move patients. Monitor patients during sessions.Sanitize therapy area.Set up therapy equipment.Massage and stretch muscles where necessary.Schedule appointments.Skills AbilitiesAbility to communicate clearly and effectively with all levels.Certification from a physical therapist assistant program.Valid physical therapist assistant license.Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks simultaneously.Effective oral and written communication skills.Computer literacy skills.Working ConditionsExposure to distressed patients, families or visitors.Possible exposure to inside environmental conditions.Physical DemandsRequires standing, sitting or walking for up to 8 hours or longer per day.The ability to lift up to 50 lbs.QualificationsHigh school graduate or equivalent.Active MO license for Physical Therapy AssistantPreferred Qualifications2+ years of experience.
