nLicensed Physical Therapist Assistant (LPTA)
nSetting : Outpatient Orthopedics, Sports Medicine, Vestibular, Concussion, ReVital (oncology), Hand Therapy, and Neurology
nLocation : NovaCare Odenton, MD
nStatus : Full-time, 32-40 hours
nCompensation: $29.00 - $38.00/ Hour

nWe are open to considering licensed PTAs for full-time, part-time, or PRN schedules. Full-time begins at 32 hours. You must have a Maryland PTA license to start. An ideal PTA has at least one year of outpatient experience. We are open to considering new graduates. Our multidisciplinary team provides on-site mentorship.
nWe treat a diverse orthopedic population, from teens to geriatrics, with specialty services including sports medicine, oncology (ReVital), neurology, vestibular, and concussion programs.
nPart-Time Schedule
nOur center operates Monday through Saturday. We are seeking part-time coverage on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and on Saturdays from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM . Additional PTA coverage is available.

n nResponsibilities
nnnResponsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
n
nnImplement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures
n
nnMaintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.
n
n nQualifications
nnnCollege graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program
n
nnPassed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE
n
nnValid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process)
n
nnCPR certification
