Physical Therapist Assistant OpportunityOpportunity for a full-time Physical Therapist Assistant in our outpatient rehab clinic in Raeford, NC. Your journey to making a meaningful impact starts here!ResponsibilitiesProvide one-on one therapy: Utilize a variety of techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise and aquatic therapy, to deliver personalized care.Document patient progress: Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices while maintaining accurate patient records.Collaborate with healthcare providers: Work closely with physicians, medical providers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care and optimal patient outcomes.Engage with a multidisciplinary team: Collaborate with a large team of seasoned physical therapists (PTs), physical therapist assistants (PTAs), occupational therapists (OTs) and speech, language pathologists (SLPs).Educate patients and families: Provide education on conditions, rehabilitation and the importance of ongoing self-care.Maintain a safe environment: Ensure a supportive and safe environment for both patients and staff.Pursue professional development: Participate in continuous professional development through continuing education opportunities and clinical ladder opportunities.QualificationsGraduate from an accredited physical therapist assistant programCurrent NC PTA licenseCPR/BLS certificationStrong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to educate and motivate patientsAbility to work independently and as part of a collaborative teamCommitment to ongoing professional growth and developmentExperience preferred but new graduate candidates considered
