nResponsibilities
nnnAssist patients in exercise, ambulation, functional activities, and the application/use of assistive devices in accordance with the treatment plan established by the Physical Therapist
n
nnAssist Physical Therapist in the execution of patient evaluations and complex treatment procedures
n
nnEducate patients, families, and other health workers on selected procedures and functional activities as directed by Physical Therapist
n
nnParticipate in ongoing program evaluation and development
n
nnMaintain thorough and timely documentation of all care provided
n
nnMaintain working knowledge of and adherence to the Physical Therapy Practice Ace and Code of Ethics
n
nnPerform other duties as assigned
n
n nQualifications
nnnAssociates degree from an accredited college or university required
n
nnCurrent license to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of Texas required
n
nnMust pass all pre-employment and employment verifications
n
