Job description

Physical Therapist AssistantWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate PRN Physical Therapist Assistant to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will work closely with licensed physical therapists to provide high-quality rehabilitative care to patients, helping them regain mobility and improve their overall well-being. If you are passionate about patient care and eager to contribute to a supportive and dynamic environment, we encourage you to apply.Key Responsibilities:- Assist licensed physical therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or illnesses- Monitor and document patient progress, reporting any concerns or changes to the supervising therapist- Provide therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities as directed by the physical therapist- Educate patients and their families on exercises and activities to support ongoing recovery- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized treatment environment- Adhere to all safety protocols, policies, and procedures to ensure patient and staff safetySkills and Qualifications:- Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program- Current licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant in Missouri- Proven experience working in a clinical or healthcare setting preferred- Strong interpersonal and communication skills- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team- Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care- Excellent organizational and time-management skillsJoin our team and become part of a healthcare organization committed to excellence, growth, and making a positive impact on patients' lives.
