Make a Difference in Recovery and IndependenceJoin our rehabilitation team as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) providing services within a Skilled Nursing Facility in Daingerfield, Texas.In this role, you'll work alongside a licensed Physical Therapist to help patients regain strength, mobility, function, and independence following illness, injury, surgery, or changes in physical ability. This is an excellent opportunity for a compassionate PTA who enjoys building relationships with patients and seeing their progress firsthand.What You'll DoCarry out individualized treatment plans established by the supervising Physical TherapistProvide therapeutic exercises, functional mobility training, manual techniques, and approved treatment modalitiesAssist patients with improving strength, balance, coordination, mobility, and overall physical functionMonitor patient response to treatment and communicate progress, concerns, or changes to the supervising Physical TherapistAccurately document treatments and patient progress according to company and regulatory guidelinesEducate patients and families on exercises, assistive devices, safety, and strategies to promote continued independenceCollaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support positive patient outcomesMaintain a safe, organized, and clean treatment environmentQualificationsGraduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant programCurrent and valid Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in the state of TexasCurrent AHA CPR certificationValid driver's licenseValid auto insurancePrevious rehabilitation, skilled nursing, or home health experience preferredHomeCare HomeBase (HCHB) experience preferredStrong communication, documentation, and patient-care skillsPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand, walk, sit, climb, crawl, squat, and kneel for extended periodsAbility to lift, carry, pull, or push up to 100 lbs. as required to safely assist patients401(k) BenefitsEligible after 3 months of service.100% immediately vestedChoice Health at Home contributes 100% of the first 3% you contribute each pay periodBring Your Skills to a Team That Makes an ImpactIf you're a licensed PTA who is passionate about helping patients regain mobility, confidence, and independence, we'd love to hear from you.Apply today to join our rehabilitation team serving patients in Daingerfield, TX.
