While working under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) assists patients and residents with therapy activities and exercises scheduled in a treatment plan to improve their quality of life and ability to perform daily activities. If this describes you, apply with us today as a Physical Therapy Assistant!Responsibilities:Provides, monitors and records therapy services to patients/residents with physical, cognitive, or developmental impairmentsSelects, implements, and modifies therapeutic activities and interventions consistent with demonstrated competency levels and goalsExchanges information with and provides documentation to the physical therapist about responses to and communications during interventionFollows and adheres to accepted clinical practice guidelines of professional organizationQualifications:Appropriate education level required in accordance with state licensureMust be a graduate through an approved American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) program as a Physical Therapist AssistantMust be licensed as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state(s) of practiceConforms to the supervision and licensing standards of the state(s) where services are providedBasic Life Support (BLS) certification required within six months of employmentWhen applicable, may require valid driver's license
