Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)Location: Overland Park, KS and Blue Springs, MO Employment Type: Full-Time Work Setting: On-Site / In Person Pay: $23.00-$38.00 per hourPosition OverviewWe are seeking a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team. This is an excellent opportunity for a PTA who enjoys hands-on patient care and working collaboratively with Physical Therapists, physicians, nurse practitioners, chiropractors, occupational therapists, and other rehabilitation professionals.Compensation$23.00-$38.00 per hour Compensation is based on experience, qualifications, availability, and licensure.Locations & ScheduleThe position supports both Overland Park, KS and Blue Springs, MO locations. As the Overland Park location continues to grow, the initial schedule may include:2-3 days per week in Overland Park, KSApproximately 2 days per week in Blue Springs, MOThe schedule may transition as the Overland Park location becomes fully staffed.ResponsibilitiesImplement individualized treatment plans established by supervising Physical TherapistsGuide patients through therapeutic exercises and rehabilitation activitiesProvide hands-on treatment and therapeutic exercise instructionTreat patients recovering from work-related injuries, motor vehicle accidents, and other musculoskeletal conditionsSupport patients with workers' compensation, occupational medicine, personal injury, and general orthopedic conditionsMonitor patient performance and response to treatmentDocument patient progress accurately and in a timely mannerCommunicate patient progress with supervising Physical Therapists and the rehabilitation teamEducate patients on home exercise programs, recovery, and injury preventionMaintain a safe, professional, and patient-focused treatment environmentCollaborate with physicians, therapists, and other rehabilitation professionalsQualificationsRequiredGraduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant programCurrent PTA license in Missouri and/or KansasEligible to obtain licensure in both states if neededStrong interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to work effectively within a multidisciplinary teamPreferredExperience in outpatient orthopedic rehabilitationWorkers' compensation or occupational medicine experiencePersonal injury rehabilitation experienceFunctional rehabilitation or return-to-work experienceNew graduates are encouraged to applyBenefitsCompetitive hourly compensationPaid onboarding and trainingFlexible scheduling opportunitiesProfessional development and continuing education supportCollaborative multidisciplinary environmentModern rehabilitation facilities and equipmentOpportunities for professional growthFor more info Contact:Katherine Hayes Protouch Healthcare Staffing Email: Phone:
