Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) - Full-Time OpportunityCompany: Cape Heritage Rehabilitation & Health Care Center in SandwichUp to $40 an hour with weekly pay.We are hiring a full-time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our dynamic care team! As a PTA, you will assist in the provision, collection of assessment data, and direct treatment to a general rehab caseload under the direction and supervision of a Physical Therapist.Education & Experience:Associate's Degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from an accredited programCEU's per state licensure requirementsMust possess a PTA license in the state, or be in the process of obtaining oneNew graduates welcome!Duties & Responsibilities:May perform additional assigned administrative duties as assigned by the Rehab Program ManagerUnder a physician's order provides direct resident treatments in accordance with an established plan of careContributes to the team meeting and decision-making process as defined by the programConsults with and trains patients, residents, and caregiversMonitors efficiencies on an ongoing basis in collaboration with supervisorDocuments activities according to the company's clinical documentation system on a timely basisDemonstrates consistent knowledge and application of Medicare and other reimbursement regulationsParticipates in clinical program development and implementationDemonstrates ability for continuous new learning to remain current in the fieldMay perform additional duties as requested by supervisorParticipates in quality improvement activitiesSpecific Requirements:Ability to function effectively in multi-faceted systems and to interact effectively with all levels of staff and customersStrong oral and written communication skillsStrong organizational and analytical skillsStanding and walking for significant amounts of time is necessaryCommunication skills needed for directing staff, customer relations, marketing activitiesAbility to perform documentation needs, manipulations of equipment, and direct patient careRequires intense attention and concentrationAbility to cope with periodic stress associated with changing census and staffing demandsDemonstrated ability to prioritize and manage time effectively for self and othersAbility to deal with a wide range of personality types, ages, and diverse cultural backgroundsAbility to articulate and comprehend the English languageWhat we offer:Competitive and Weekly PayHoliday Pay for Hourly and Salaried EmployeesOvertime Pay for Hourly EmployeesCareer Advancement OpportunitiesExclusive Employer Discount ProgramAvailable for Eligible Team Members:Employer-Paid Life Insurance401(k) with Employer MatchVacation and Personal TimeHealth, Dental, and Vision InsuranceWe are an equal opportunity employer that values diversity at all levels.
