Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

nThe Physical Therapy Assistant provides physical therapy services including treatment, implementation and documentation under the direction of the Physical Therapist and in accordance with the physician's plan of care.
nMinimum Requirements:
nnnCurrent licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant in thestate of practice
n
nnGraduate of an accredited school of Physical TherapyAssistant
n
nnOne (1) year of prior professional Physical TherapyAssistant experience preferred
n
nnCurrent CPR if applicable
n
nnTB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
n
nnCurrent Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)
n
nnMust meet all federal, state and local requirements
n
nnMust be at least 18 years of age
