Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)Facility type: LTC/SNFLocation: Fayetteville, NC 28306Duration: 13 Weeks contractShift Timings: 8:00am – 4:30pmPay rate: $38/hr on W2Pay Period: WeeklyDocuments RequiredPlease share the following at your earliest convenience:Updated ResumeHealth records (PPD and Physical)BLS/ CPRCovid Vaccination CardJob DescriptionTo apply physical therapy assistant procedures and modalities to patients to assist patients to achieve functional goals under the direction of qualified physical therapists.To follow established procedures pertaining to maintenance, adjustment, assembly and disassembly of physical therapy equipment.To perform procedures related to patient treatment and documentation in medical records.To assist with transfer of patients related to therapeutic exercise and physical therapy procedures, and to be responsible for the safety and care of patients assigned by a physical therapist or medical staff.The patient population includes a combination of physical disabilities, ventilator dependent, and those with mental health diagnoses.Come explore this opportunity to work with a dynamic multidisciplinary team.
