Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Full TimeSan Francisco Post Acute | San Francisco, CASan Francisco Post Acute is seeking a compassionate, motivated, and patient-focused Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team. This is a great opportunity for an experienced PTA or a new graduate looking to grow their career in a supportive post-acute environment.Compensation & BenefitsPay Rate: $48–$52 per hour, depending on experienceSchedule: Full TimeMedical, dental, and vision insurancePaid time off (PTO)Holiday pay401(k) retirement planContinuing education and professional development opportunitiesSupportive and collaborative team environmentPosition OverviewAs a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will provide skilled therapy services under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. You will play an important role in helping residents improve mobility, strength, balance, functional abilities, and overall independence.ResponsibilitiesProvide physical therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.Assist residents with improving mobility, strength, balance, coordination, and functional independence.Follow individualized treatment plans and therapeutic interventions.Monitor resident response to treatment and communicate progress or concerns to the Physical Therapist.Accurately document treatments, resident progress, and other required clinical information.Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support resident-centered goals.Educate and encourage residents throughout the rehabilitation process.Maintain compliance with facility policies, regulatory requirements, and documentation standards.QualificationsCurrent and valid California Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license required.Skilled nursing or post-acute care experience preferred.New graduates are welcome to apply!Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Excellent organizational and documentation skills.Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.Commitment to providing high-quality rehabilitation services.Join Our Rehabilitation TeamAt San Francisco Post Acute, you'll be part of a dedicated team focused on helping residents achieve meaningful recovery and greater independence.
