We are seeking a dependable and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team in Adrian, Missouri on a PRN basis. This is a great opportunity for a PTA looking for a flexible schedule while providing quality care to patients and residents.
Responsibilities
Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist
Assist patients with mobility, strengthening, balance, transfers, and functional activities
Follow individualized treatment plans and therapeutic interventions
Monitor patient progress and communicate with the supervising PT
Complete accurate and timely documentation
Collaborate with PT, OT, SLP, nursing, and other members of the care team
Provide professional, patient-centered care
Qualifications
Current Missouri PTA license in good standing
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
Strong communication and organizational skills
Dependable and professional
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
