Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – PRNYorkview Nursing and Rehab is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide rehabilitation services in our skilled nursing facility in York, PA.The Physical Therapist Assistant works under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist to assist in assessing residents, developing treatment programs, and delivering physical therapy services designed to improve mobility, function, and independence.Shift AvailablePRN / As NeededConsistent hours available for maternity leave coverage around December/JanuaryResponsibilitiesProvide physical therapy services within the PTA scope of practice in accordance with established standards and department proceduresAssist the Physical Therapist with resident evaluations as directedAssist the Physical Therapist with developing and implementing individualized treatment plansProvide therapeutic interventions designed to improve strength, mobility, balance, and functional independenceDocument treatment provided and resident progress accurately and timelyCommunicate resident progress and changes with the Physical Therapist and interdisciplinary care teamMaintain compliance with clinical, regulatory, and facility standardsParticipate in ongoing professional development and continuing educationQualificationsAssociate's Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant programCurrent Pennsylvania Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) licenseStrong communication and teamwork skillsCommitment to resident-centered care and professional excellenceAbility to work collaboratively with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary care teamEducation Assistance ProgramWe offer education assistance opportunities, including:Up to $5,250 per year toward tuition*Up to $2,625 per year toward repayment of a qualifying non-federal nursing student loan*Benefits, bonuses, and variable compensation plans are based on applicable state law and factors such as pay classification, job grade, location, and length of service.
