Physical Therapist AssistantBerkshire Rehab, an award-winning facility, is looking for part-time and per diem PTAs to join our team in Sandisfield! 24 hours a week.We are a 57-bed, all-male skilled nursing home with a large veteran population. Weekly pay up to $40 an hour.As a PTA, you assist in the provision, collection of assessment data, and direct treatment to a general rehab caseload under the direction and supervision of a Physical Therapist, and participate in clinical program development.Education & Experience:Associate's Degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from an accredited program.CEU's per state licensure requirements.Massachusetts PTA license required.Duties & Responsibilities:May perform additional assigned administrative duties such as assigned by the Rehab Program Manager.Under a physician's order, provides direct resident treatments in accordance with an established plan of care. Treatment venues include individual, supervised, and group.Contributes to the team meeting and decision-making process as defined by the program.Consults with and trains patients, residents, and caregivers.Monitors efficiencies on an ongoing basis in collaboration with supervisor.Documents activities according to the company's clinical documentation system on a timely basis.Demonstrates consistent knowledge and application of Medicare and other reimbursement regulations.Participates in clinical program development and implementation.Specific Requirements:Ability to perform documentation needs, manipulations of equipment and direct patient care.Requires intense attention and concentration.Ability to cope with periodic stress associated with changing census and staffing demands.Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage time effectively for self and others.Ability to deal with a wide range of personality types, ages, and diverse cultural backgrounds.Ability to articulate and comprehend the English language.Benefits:Competitive and Weekly PayHoliday Pay for Hourly and Salaried EmployeesOvertime Pay for Hourly EmployeesCareer Advancement OpportunitiesExclusive Employer Discount ProgramAvailable for Eligible Team Members:Employer-Paid Life Insurance401(k) with Employer MatchVacation and Personal TimeHealth, Dental, and Vision InsuranceWe are an equal opportunity employer that values diversity at all levels.
