Travel Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)Travel Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) provides patient care under licensed PTs during a 13-week contract in Rapid City, SD. The role supports rehabilitation teams to implement treatment plans and monitor progress, delivering quality care in a supportive environment.Key Responsibilities:Assist licensed Physical Therapists in implementing patient treatment plansProvide therapeutic exercises and mobility training to patientsMonitor patient progress and communicate updates to supervising PTDocument patient treatment and responses accuratelyEnsure safety and comfort of patients during therapy sessionsCollaborate with the rehab team to achieve positive outcomesQualifications:Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant programActive South Dakota PTA license (or eligibility to obtain prior to start)Current BLS certification requiredExcellent communication and patient care skillsPreferred Skills:Previous clinical experience preferred
