Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) | White House, TennesseeStep into a meaningful role as a Physical Therapist Assistant, providing essential support to students across a dynamic school district. This full-time contract opportunity begins immediately and plays an important part in delivering physical therapy services alongside an experienced district Physical Therapist. The position involves working in multiple schools, directly impacting student learning and participation in an educational setting.Key Qualifications:Current or eligible Tennessee licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.Previous experience in pediatric or school-based settings is a plus, but not mandatory.Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between several school sites within the district.Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork skills.Role Responsibilities:Deliver physical therapy services to students under the supervision and direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.Assist with the execution of individualized treatment plans and therapy goals.Promote student mobility, functional independence, and active participation in classroom and school activities.Accurately document provided services and monitor student progress, maintaining compliance with district and program standards.Collaborate regularly with the supervising Physical Therapist, school staff, special education teams, and other related service professionals.Attend and contribute to IEP meetings and related activities as needed.Travel between school locations in Robertson County to serve students effectively.If you’re ready to make a difference for students and bring your clinical expertise to a supportive educational environment, take the next step.
