Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) - Worcester with $5k Sign-On Bonus!Join our dynamic team at Worcester Rehabilitation & Health Care Center as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA). As a PTA, you will play a crucial role in the provision of physical therapy services to our patients, under the direction and supervision of a Physical Therapist.Weekly pay up to $40 an hour.Education & Experience:Associate's Degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from an accredited programCEU's per state licensure requirementsCurrent licensure by the applicable state agency where requiredPrior clinical experience preferred but not requiredNewly licensed therapists welcome!Duties & Responsibilities:Assist in the provision, collection of assessment data, and direct treatment to a general rehab caseload under the direction and supervision of a Physical TherapistParticipate in clinical program development and implementationConsult with and train patients, residents, and caregiversMonitor efficiencies on an ongoing basis in collaboration with supervisorDocument activities according to the company's clinical documentation system on a timely basisDemonstrate ability for continuous new learning to remain current in the fieldSpecific Requirements:Ability to function effectively in multi-faceted systems and to interact effectively with all levels of staff and customersStrong oral and written communication skillsStrong organizational and analytical skillsStanding and walking for significant amounts of time is necessaryAbility to perform documentation needs, manipulations of equipment, and direct patient careRequires intense attention and concentrationAbility to cope with periodic stress associated with changing census and staffing demandsDemonstrated ability to prioritize and manage time effectively for self and othersAbility to deal with a wide range of personality types, ages, and diverse cultural backgroundsAbility to articulate and comprehend the English language*Employment conditions applyBenefits:Weekly PayHoliday & Overtime PayCareer Advancement OpportunitiesExclusive Employer Discount Program401(k) with Employer MatchAvailable for Full-Time Staff:Employer-Paid Life InsuranceVacation and Personal TimeHealth, Dental, and Vision InsuranceWe are an equal opportunity employer that values diversity at all levels.
