Job description
Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to provide quality rehabilitation services under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
Responsibilities:
Assist with individualized treatment plans.
Provide therapeutic exercises and activities.
Assist with mobility, transfers, gait training, and functional activities.
Monitor patient response and report progress to the Physical Therapist.
Educate patients on exercises and safe mobility techniques.
Maintain a safe and supportive treatment environment.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
Active PTA license as required by state regulations.
Current BLS certification preferred.
Previous clinical or healthcare experience preferred.
Preferred Skills: Strong knowledge of rehabilitation and therapeutic exercises.
Excellent patient-care and communication skills.
Compassionate and patient-focused approach.
Strong observation and documentation skills.
Ability to follow treatment plans accurately.
Good teamwork and organizational skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
